Roger Schmidt has to deal with Petar Musa at Benfica. Musa is a 24-year-old striker from Croatia who comes over from Boavista FC after this season.
Benfica announces that the striker signed for five seasons in Lisbon. Musa was one of the bright spots in the Boavista team, which finished twelfth in the Portuguese competition. In 27 games, he was responsible for eleven goals and three assists. Musa is quickly presented as the newest addition.
Slowly, Schmidt‘s team is starting to take shape. It is reported that he is also busy with David Neres and Mario Götze. He knows Neres from Ajax and with Götze he worked at PSV. The German came to Eindhoven at Schmidt’s intercession.
Schmidt recently signed a two-year contract with Benfica. He was appointed PSV head coach in the summer of 2020.
