Benfica is quite busy in the transfer market. The club does not stand still after the arrival of David Neres: with River Plate, there is a multi-million dollar deal for Enzo Fernández, a midfielder.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Benfica and River Plate have a deal worth eighteen million euros for Fernández. The 21-year-old midfielder from San Martin can sign in Lisbon for five seasons. The journalist Pedro Sepúlveda knows that Benfica obtains 75% of the transfer rights by attracting Fernández. That means that River Plate has stipulated a resale rate of 25%. Fernández has yet to reach an agreement with Benfica.
Fernández was also very good at several Premier League clubs. He went through River Plates youth education and, after a short rental period at Defensa Y Justicia, broke through at the club where he is still under contract until 2025.
