Schreuder doesn’t go along with Tadic sentiment: ‘It really doesn’t hurt him’

Dusan Tadic has faced criticism over the past period for not starting the season well, but the stats say otherwise. Ajax trainer Alfred Schreuder is more than positive about his Serbian captain.
Tadic wrote three assists against sc Heerenveen on Saturday and takes away the criticism. It wasnt just fans, but also a lot of journalists and presenters that I hear an opinion about football. They pushed it, too. I hear it, but Im not doing anything with it because he has value to us. He plays on the right side and is busy with Devyne Rensch about playing and moving. He has always done a great job and lets others play better. When you step on the field with Tadic, that is pleasant for a fellow player. It really doesnt do Tadic, says Schreuder at the press conference. I think hes getting better in his rhythm, says Schreuder about the professional Tadic. He is working on it a lot himself, which shows how professional he is. At halftime, I switched Jorge Sánchez for Rensch, immediately he stood at the tactics board with Jorge.
Its a leader. Ive known him for ten years, so you know what hes like. He sets the bar high and does not accept slacking. He and Daley (Blind, ed.) are very important players for a trainer.
