‘Seeking William II sees Panathinaikos the successor to Pavlidis’

Willem II remains active in the Greek market. The Tricolores want to cover the departure of Vangelis Pavlidis to AZ with the arrival of Argyris Kampetsis.
The Brabants Dagblad manages to report that Monday. William II would be in conversation with Panathinaikos, the 22-year-old striker club, about a lease with option to buy. Kampetsis, who can also play as shadow striker, doesnt have to count on a lot of playtime at the Greek top club.
The two-legged striker was trained by Olympiakos and Panathinaikos and has also played a season on a rental basis for the second team of Borussia Dortmund. Last season, he scored three goals for the Athens green shirts in nineteen Super League matches. Kampetsis also served several Greek representative youth Delft in the past.
Kampetsis should compete with Kwasi Wriedt in King Willem II Stadium for the spot in the striker of the team of trainer Fred Grim or bet on the position around the long attacker so that they can play together.
