Juan Fernandez, designer of Ninja Theory, shared some details about the upcoming Senua‘s Saga: Hellblade 2. So, according to him, the developers really “raised the bar” – the game will be “on another level”. More people are working on the sequel, and its quality is simply “off the charts”.
Fernandes believes that Hellblade 2 will have a certain impact — as in the case of the original, but The designer also noted that the combat system of the sequel will be very different from the first Hellblade. He admitted that he did not like some of the things in the original, including the lack of variety of enemies, “slow” ranged combat, and problems with the balance of difficulty, resulted in a tenacious opponent with a large supply of health.
The latter made players particularly tired during the battle and did not motivate them to use different attacks and combos. Apparently, in Hellblade 2, developers took a different approach to battles and included the need to conduct a more diverse battle.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II has no exact release date yet, but it is known that the game is created for PC and Xbox Series. Earlier, the authors said that the first Hellblade will look like an indie game after the release of the long-awaited sequel.
