Sevilla wins heated duel of Getafe, Orange at the top of Club Brugge and Lyon

Seville has won a particularly unfriendly duel with Getafe. The Andalusians were on their own field with 3-0 too strong.

Sevilla – Getafe 3-0For rest there was a disapproved goal of Youssef En-Nesyri, but in the second half it went completely loose. In the 52nd minute, Getafe defender Djené Dakonam made a dirty offense on Lucas Ocampos, and after intervention by the VAR, Djené rightly got red. Lucas Ocampos had to leave the field injured after the charge. A few minutes later, the referee had to draw the red card again. Trainers Julen Lopetegui and José Bordalás were sent to the bleachers after they got together.

In the 67th minute Munir El Haddadi made the long-awaited 1-0 for Seville. In the final phase, Alejandro Gomez and Youssef En-Nesyri secured the win for Seville with two goals: 3-0. Luuk de Jong stayed on the bank with Seville for the entire match. Because of the victory, Seville occupies third place for at least a day. If FC Barcelona wins against Real Betis Sunday night, the team of Lopetegui will be fourth again.
Waasland-Beveren – Club Brugge 0-2Club Brugge started the duel with the gate closer and did what it had to do, thanks to Lang. The ex-Ajacied opened the score after a handsome solo from the sidelines: 0-1, which remained on the signs for over eighty minutes, until Lang hit on Tahith Chong‘s mark: 0-2, game over. Blue-Black cherishes a lead of seventeen points (!) on pursuers Royal Antwerp FC and Racing Genk, with eight regular competition duels to go. At the end of the season, the points are halved and the top four plays an extra mini petition.

Olympique Lyon-Racing Strasbourg 3-0Memphis had already not scored four races, but picked up again against middlemoter Racing Strasbourg. First he took advantage of blunder in the building of the guests, then he curled in a beautiful way a free kick. Karl Toko Ekambi took care of the 2-0 in between, and L’OL took over the leading position in France with this victory. However, Lille can come back on Sunday if it wins Nantes.

Atalanta Bergamo-Torino 3-3Marten de Roon opened the ball early in the match: his brilliant splitting pass was promoted to 1-0 by Josip Ilicic. Then it went fast: Robin Gosens worked from a difficult angle into the 2-0, Luis Muriel took care of 3-0 in two instances and the course seemed to run.

However, that was excluded from Torino’s resilience. The number seventeen of Serie A came back to 3-2 for rest, via Andrea Belotti and Gleison Bremer. It remained there for a long time, but in the final phase the party was complete: Federico Bonazzoli entered the 3-3 five minutes before time. Atalanta therefore fails to reach the same level with number four Juventus.

Aston Villa-Arsenal 1-0The number nine of the Premier League broke the duel with the number ten open early. The first minute of the match had only just elapsed when Bertrand Traoré rushed past Gabriel Magalhães on the right: the Burkinese gave and Ollie Watkins shot through the early 1-0.
Arsenal had an hour and a half to deal with that backlog, but failed to break through the Aston Villa lines. Martin Odegaard was given an excellent chance to win the equalizer in the final phase, but the North Londoners did not come further. Aston Villa climbs to spot eight and enlarges the hole with Arsenal to four points. The teamof Mikel Arteta has also played two matches more than the opponent.
