The sheikhs and notables of the Saharawi tribes of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region welcomed the reopening of the Guergarat passage in the Moroccan Sahara to ensure the free movement of people and goods.
In a statement sent to the MAP, they expressed their “satisfaction with the reopening of the Guergarate passage and the guarantee of the freedom of movement of people and goods”.
The sheikhs and notables also praise the operation of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) aimed at securing the movement of people and goods in this area linking Morocco to Mauritania, while denouncing “the repeated provocations carried out by +polisario+ mercenaries in order to undermine African and world peace”.
Convinced of the correctness of the national cause, they reaffirm their “unconditional commitment” to the territorial integrity of Morocco and to the defence of the Moroccan Sahara.
They also reiterate their constant mobilization behind King Mohammed VI, in the defence of Moroccos territorial integrity and the realization of security, stability and development.
