Sixth dead after massacre Christmas parade Waukesha: child (8) succumbs

A sixth victim died from the consequences of an incident last Sunday in the U.S. state of Wisconsin, with a motorist entering a Christmas tour. Dozens of people were also injured.

The sixth dead is an 8-year-old boy, the prosecutor announced. The other deceased are between 52 and 81 years old. A total of 62 people were injured, a few are in critical condition. Previously, a number of 48 were mentioned injured by the police. The 12-year-old brother of the 8-year-old boy was also injured, but has since been discharged from the hospital.

39-year-old suspect Darrell Brooks first appeared in court. He was charged five-fold intentional manslaughter. The officer announced a sixth charge of the child‘s death. If the judge goes along with the officer’s indictment, Brooks will be sentenced to life.

It is still not clear why Brooks entered the Christmas tour in Waukesha, a suburb of Milwaukee. The police do not treat the case as terrorism, it was announced yesterday. According to the officer, he deliberately sent back and forth to hit people. The next session is scheduled for 14 January.
