Slot puts finger on sore Feyenoord spot: ‘Selection is not order’

For Arne Slot, his baptism of fire as trainer of Feyenoord went disappointing. He puts his finger on the sore spot after the scoreless draw against FC Drita in the second heat of the Conference League.
“Youre hoping to see a better match than this,” Slot stings ashore at ESPN. “It wasnt fun to watch. Overall, it was just far too little.” He knows what its up to. “We just have very few players who have creativity in the small space and can play out a man. When the match goes like this, youll need players with creativity, but thats not in our team. You can see that the selection is not in order yet.”
The Rotterdammers hope to have Alireza Jahanbakhsh in the future. The Iranian is the successor to Steven Berghuis. “It has to be along if he wants to play half next week,” Slot remains careful. As a result, he expects a difficult match in return. “I hope we can create something at home in De Kuip, but I don
t think its going to be dozens of opportunities. Unfortunately, I dare to predict that already.”
