Sony has removed Japan Studio mention from PlayStation Studios website

Users noticed that Sony has updated the PlayStation Studios page โ€” now there instead of Japan Studio is mentioned Team Asobi (Astro Bot). Up until the end of June, the Japanese studio was mentioned in the list. The description stated that it was โ€œan old and talented team responsible for the most original PlayStation games.

โ€ The replacement team Asobi has noted that it created Astor‘s Playroom. Japan Studio was only formally converted to Team Asobi, but in fact the studio was closed and Astros Playroom became a separate studio โ€” the PlayStation’s Japanese office left many veterans including Silent Hill author, Siren, and Gravity Rush Keiichiro Toyama.
