A South African doctor is accused of murdering her three daughters. The bodies were found by the girls father when they came home. What inspired the mother is not clear yet. She ended up in hospital after the drama, but not life-threatening.
Forty-year-old Lauren Dickason had only just moved to New Zealand with her husband Graham and three daughters from South Africa. They arrived in mid-August and had to spend a 14-day quarantine period at a hotel first. Social media hopeful posts from note bene the mother did not suspect any tensions or problems within the family.
On Thursday night, however, the unthinkable happened. Father Graham, a surgeon, came home after a work visit at 22 oclock in the evening where he found his three daughters (a 6-year-old girl and twins aged 2). He called emergency services, but the girls – Maya, Karla and Liane – had already died. The exact cause of death has not been disclosed by the authorities.
The girls mother was taken to hospital. It is in stable condition. She was charged with the murder of her daughters on Friday. Shes due to be in court soon. Dickason has had a lot of trouble getting pregnant for years according to The Daily Mail. Indications of major problems within the family does not have a family nanny. Dickason is placed in a secure cell and is undergoing psychological research.
The girls grandmother says that the family is still trying to understand what happened. Lauren and Graham have been married for fifteen years. Flowers and stuffed animals have been placed at the house of the two. “It hasnt gotten through to us yet. We are in shock,” said the childrens grandmother.
