Fortuna Sittard has strengthened with Tijjani Noslin. The 22-year-old attacker comes across from TOP Oss, where he joined on an amateur base only two months ago.
Noslin‘s career goes like a comet. The former youth player of FC Den Bosch and FC Twente left Utrecht head grader DHSC early this summer for an amateur contract with the first divisionist in Brabant. So now he’s already promoting to the Eredivisie. The Amsterdammer signed a contract until mid-2024, with an option for another season, the Limburgers report.
Fortuna technical manager Sjoerd Ars explains the surprising transfer. “He left a positive impression on us during the preparation at TOP Oss. Of course, it‘s a big step from amateur football, but we think he can make big steps in the long run.”
Noslin, who earned the nickname The Wizard of the Thorbeckerlaan at DHSC, is proud of his transition. “It all went very fast. Within two months the amateurs to the Eredivisie is a boy’s dream. I am so grateful for this opportunity and I am going to work with my new teammates to make it a beautiful season now that the audience is back in the stadiums.”
