A special quarrel in the situation surrounding Arek Milik. SSC Napoli has reached an agreement of millions with AS Roma, but Milik‘s ‘yes‘ is still missing.
That is what transfer specialists Gianluca Di Marzio and Fabrizio Romano say. Milik is open to departure, but Roma have hardly been mentioned in recent months as a possible new destination for the Polish striker. It seemed to be Juventus and Atlético Madrid.
Now it appears that AS Roma wants to go far ahead of Milik. Napoli and Roma have reached an agreement worth a total of EUR 25 million. According to Di Marzio, Roma hope to hire Milik first. That would cost him EUR 3 million, after which he can be definitively hired for a fixed sum of EUR 15.
The remaining seven million are bonuses.
So the clubs are out, but Milik is not there yet. He can earn EUR 5 million a season in Rome. Yet the old Ajacied is in doubt, so it sounds. It is not clear what Milik is letting it depend on. Milik still has a contract until the end of this season.
AS Roma have reached an agreement with Napoli to sign Arkadiusz Milik [€25m add us included]. Now it’s up to the player: if Milik will accept to join Roma, Edin Dzeko will be sold to Juventus. Dzeko has always been the #1 choice as Juve striker ð¨ @DiMarzio @SkySport #transfers
