Spits Romero “recalled from Italy” and is training separately at PSV for the time being

Maximiliano Romero was at the first PSV training of the season on Friday. The Argentine million buyer seemed hard on its way to Udinese, but all parties involved failed to get the transfer around on time.
Romero has already been medically examined in northern Italy, but was back at De Herdgang on Friday: there he trained separately from the group, reports PSV via the mutual channels. According to the Eindhovens Dagblad, the Argentijn was taken back by PSV because Udinese has not yet met all the conditions PSV imposes. The 22-year-old Argentine would be rented out, including a purchase option: if and when the deal comes off the ground, theres a little wait and see.
PSV counted ten million euros in early 2018 to take over Romero from Vélez Sarsfield. However, the Argentine could hardly take minutes due to injury. After a rental period at his old club, Romero seemed to come loose, but on September 24, 2020, the fate struck: Maxi was allowed to start in the Europa League game with NS Mura in base, but ripped off his cruciate belt within ten minutes.
