Henk Veerman returns to sc Heerenveen. The Volendam striker signs a contract for three years in Friesland. He comes over from FC St. Pauli, where he was under contract for two years.
The 29-year-old Veerman, who started his career at FC Volendam, previously played three seasons for Heerenveen and came in that period to 108 matches and 21 goals.
His period at St. Pauli, which culminates in the second level in Germany, was volatile. He had a strong period, but he also got seriously injured. At the end of 2018 he tore the front cruciate ligament in his right knee. In the end he played 38 matches for the club from Hamburg. He scored 17 times.
