Kingsley Coman has appeared on the Manchester United radar. Bayern Munich stopped discussions about a new contract with the French attacker, due to the high salary demands that his manager Pini Zahavi put in place. United sees in him a Plan B.
The Mancunians have long been engaged in bringing Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho to Old Trafford. There‘s good hope that will succeed, but if it doesn’t, Coman comes in the picture. This is what the German Sport1 reports.
The French attacker did not come out with Bayern, after which Der Rekordmeister stopped the contract negotiations. Coman is still under contract in Munich until the summer of 2023. His case observer Zahavi is seen by BILD as a “greedy piranha”. He wanted to see a pay doubling for Coman, which would make the seventeen million euros. Bayern thought it was a bit too much of the good.
Previously, he made high demands in the talks about one of his other clients, David Alaba. It will play for Real Madrid next season after he walked out the door at Bayern.
🚨 Exclusive #Coman: #MUFC has deposited interest! It‘s expected that they bid for KC if they can’t get #Sancho. Even Nagelsmann knows about the interest from @ManUtd but he wants to keep him. It is said within #FCBayern: KC wants to extend, his advisors are the problem. @SPORT1
