Square Enix to release full Final Fantasy VII remake on iOS and Android

Square Enix following the re-release of the remake of Final Fantasy VII for PS5 announced two mobile games across the universe at once: a battle royal (don‘t even ask) and a full remake of the entire seventh part including spin-offs. The second was called Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis and plan to release on an episodic model. Promise to include stories from the original game, the animated series Advent Children and spin-offs Before Crisis, Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus.

Visually it resembles the animated version of the original, however during battles, models from the console remake are clearly used. Overall looks surprisingly good.

Release in 2022. But let’s have a little bit about the battle royal: the game has been called Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier, and the action is set in Midgar before the highlights of the seventh part.
