Stopped Pröpper shows face to second divisionist: ‘Beautiful for us’

Davy Pröpper is going to show face at GVVV, which plays in the Second Division. The former PSV player who stopped playing football this season trains once in Veenendaal to work on his condition.
This is what the Gelderlander reports. Thursday evening, Pröpper will be on the field at GVVV. In principle, that is a one-off. For us, its nice that a player like Davy trains along, says GVVV coach Gery Vink.
You never know how things develop, but a return as a football player is completely out of the question, continues Vink. Players may be training more often in the coming period.
Just after the turn of the year, Pröpper announced that he stopped playing football at the age of thirty. The midfielder had lost pleasure in the sport. The football world reacted with surprise to the news about Pröpper, but it is now quiet around him. Brother Robin Pröpper is currently still active, defending FC Twente.
