Story of Seasons producer: Pioneers of Olive Town apologises to players

The Japanese release of a new part of the famous series of peaceful life simulators took place, and Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town proved to be technical hell. Players complain about numerous long loading screens, critical bugs and uneven gameplay process. Story of Seasons series producer Day Takemura admitted in the official blog of the game that the premiere turned out to be far from ideal, and apologized to disappointed players.

He assured that a proper update is already on the approach and all the flaws will be fixed over time. Recently, the Story of Seasons series, which was previously known as Harvest Moon on West or Bokujo Monogatari in Japan, celebrated its 25th anniversary.

And the premiere of the underdone Pioneers of Olive Town came out not the most successful way to mark such an important milestone. In Europe, Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is released on the Nintendo Switch on March 26.

It is hoped that by then at least some of the bugs will be able to correct. The delay of the release, at least, is not reported.
