Supreme Junior does not win and does not end the international period nicely

The Dutch Junior has not been able to end the international period in a pleasant way. The Dutch talents reigned supreme when visiting Young Romania, but the game resulted in a goalless draw.
The meeting in Romania was the second exhibition game of the international period for the Dutch Junior. On Friday, Erwin van de Loois team already won a victory over Young Belgium. Three days later, the Dutch Junior had to do without Ryan Gravenberch and Brian Brobbey, who in the meantime promoted to the big Dutch team. Joshua Zirkzee and Elayis Tavsan replaced the two. For the rest, the Dutch Junior took part with the same names.
From the first minute, the Dutch Junior was the better match on the moderate Romanian turf. The visitors had almost nothing but the ball and came to several good chances. However, they did not work, while Romania was also unable to take advantage of its sparse opportunities. Later in the game, Thijs Dallinga and Sven Mijnans had to provide offensive impulses, but they also failed to score.
And so the practice game ended in a 0-0 draw. The Dutch Junior Team still has plenty of time to work towards the European Under-21 Championships, which will be played in the summer of 2023. It is not yet clear what the further preparation of Van de Looi and associates looks like.
