Team Ninja has no plans for new Ninja Gaiden and Nioh story complete

Team Ninja now do not plan to work on new parts of Ninja Gaiden and Nioh, as told by the studio‘s leading specialist Fumihiko Yasuda in an interview with VGC. In the company want to return to the series about ninja. If this happens, the novelty will be created primarily for Xbox, for which the first editions of the modern relaunch of the series were originally made.

But to publish Nioh on Xbox, despite the release for PC, Team Ninja do not plan. Judging by the interview, the company has a clear division of franchises for different brands: Nioh is focused on PlayStation, while Ninja Gaiden is on Xbox.

Yasuda also told about what seemed important to him in the PlayStation 5 from the developer’s point of view: first he noted the capabilities of the DualSense gamepad like adaptive triggers and backward returns, but the most important called SSD. Team Ninja is due to announce its new game this year, however, there are no details about it yet.

Apparently, we are waiting for a new intellectual property. The Nioh 2 remaster will be released on PS5 and PC as early as February 5.
