A young street robber robbed four elderly people in Zaandam on Sunday afternoon. That was announced today. One of the victims was injured on the head.
The first two robberies were committed in the Hoornseveld neighbourhood. In both robberies the victims walked with a walker. The perpetrator managed to steal some money.
In the third robbery in a park, the perpetrator cycled around an older couple and asked them for money. They refused to give it to them, after which a struggle ensued. The two victims fell and one of them sustained a head wound. The perpetrator took off with an unknown loot, reports NH Nieuws.
The victims all gave a similar description of the perpetrator. It would be a boy of about fourteen years old. He had been cycling around the neighborhood for a while before the robberies.
