Telegraph: Bizot ‘whistling’ through the inspection, five million euros for AZ

Marco Bizot has taken his transfer to Stade Brest, France. According to De Cceit, the goalkeeper will draw for three seasons in Brittany and also delivers AZ a pocket pouch.
Bizot recently saw transfers to Atlรฉtico Madrid and Olympiakos Piraeus bypass, but still got the chance for a foreign adventure, Football Primeur reported Saturday. The thirty-year-old closing post from Hoorn has passed his medical inspection whistling and will be presented by his new club on Tuesday. Although he had only one contract year left in Alkmaar, AZ is expected to be able to add another five million euros, reports De Cceit.
AZ cashed before Calvin Stengs (OGC Nice) earlier this summer and will soon be seeing Myron Boadu (AS Monaco). A transfer from Teun Koopmeiners also hangs in the air: the left leg is followed by Stade Rennes, although he also has a number of Italian irons in the fire.
Whether AZ is still looking for a successor to Bizot has yet to be seen. The club recently said goodbye to Jasper Schendelaar (PEC Zwolle) and Rody de Boer (Roda JC) and still has Hobie Verhulst, Beau Reus and Mees Bakker in the ranks.
