The United States‘s extensive practice victory over Panama (6-2) had a high first and first division level. Telstar attacker Sebastian Soto made the 4-2 and 6-2, both on PSV’s Richard Ledezma.
Soto made his debut fifteen minutes before, Ledezma entered the field for the first time in a Team USA shirt ten minutes earlier. In addition to both debutants, Sergiño Dest (ex-Ajax), Ulysses Llanez (sc Heerenveen) and Matt Miazga (ex-Vitesse) were in the base.
