Telstar gives away 3-1 backlog against Spakenburg, but still escapes in cup

Spakenburg has not been able to provide a beer point at Telstar. The amateurs returned from a 3-1 backlog, but left a stunt in the closing phase of the game and fell in overtime: 5-3.
The competition in Velsen-Zuid was full of spectacle. Via Yassine Zakir, Telstar got ahead, but Floris van der Linden tied for Spakenburg again, after which Gyliano van Velzen gave Telstar a lead again shortly afterwards. Spakenburg was absolutely not inferior to the club from the Kitchen Champion Division.
The Second Division club weathered badly, but was slammed after Delvechio Blackson doubled the lead for Telstar shortly after half time. A Telstar stunt seemed averted. Or not, because when Van der Linden made the hookup target, Telstar suddenly believed in it again.

Telstar staggered and gave away the lead altogether when Lowie van Zundert also made the third for Spakenburg with twelve minutes on the clock. Andries Jonker‘s team even escaped defeat in extremis because Telstar didn’t finish the odds.
In extension, Telstar still managed to attract the game to itself. A few minutes in the extension Jip Molenaar made the 4-3, after which Spakenburg had to continue with ten men when Joรซl Amakodo got his second yellow. In the closing minutes, Rashaan Fernandes decided the game.
