Ten people injured in Tokyo train stabbing incident, suspect caught

Tokyo police arrested a man who has put in a moving commuter train in Tokyo with a knife out of ten people. Nine passengers were taken to the hospital with injuries. One of them was seriously injured. The tenth injured could go home himself.

After pulling the emergency brake, the passengers panicked out of the train, according to eyewitnesses. In that chaos, the perpetrator managed to escape. He left his knife on the train.

The stab incident happened near Seijogakuen station. The train in which it happened runs mostly above ground, but in the part where the attack took place, the train runs underground.

The perpetrator was later arrested in a store. The shopkeeper said the man had blood stains on his T-shirt and said he was tired of running. Then the shopkeeper called the police who picked up the man.
