‘The County expands candidate list and approaches Jonker and Hake’

De Graafschap has approached René Hake and Andries Jonker for next season‘s main trainership. The Doetinchemse club, where Jan Vreman is now at the helm, has meanwhile spoken to both practice masters.
There seems to be something to choose for De Graafschap, which previously also dealt with Adrie Poldervaart. The assistant trainer of FC Groningen seems to be the main candidate to fill the trainer post of the Kitchen Champion Division club, reports De Gelderlander. De Graafschap has not put Vreman’
s longer stay by heart either. He replaced the fired Reinier Robbemond in mid-season.
Hake was put on the street by FC Utrecht last month and is therefore free. That does not apply to Jonker, who is a trainer and technical director at Telstar. Poldervaart was also associated with the Superfarmers last season, but at the time Groningen did not let him go.
The 56-year-old Vreman has a long past at De Graafschap. ‘Mister De Graafschap’ was a trainer of the club at an earlier stage. Between 2014 and 2016, he waved the scepter in Doetinchem. In 2015, he forced promotion to the Eredivsie, although he relegated immediately the following season.
