The last time Ajax-PSV?

With Ajax — PSV the showdown between the two best clubs in the Netherlands will be on Sunday. But for whom could this be the last edition of this topper? Football First puts the 22 possible base customers along the yardstick: which Ajacieds and PSVers apply for a step higher?

Ajax
Andre Onana- Onana has been of great value for Ajax for years. He is ready to go to a European top club, but the 24-year-old Cameroon has to wait for a spot under the bar to be released. – Last summer he was in the picture at Chelsea, who chose Édouard Mendy. Now, among others, Tottenham Hotspur is mentioned. It
s just to see if the top clubs are going through.
Contract until: mid-2022
Noussair Mazraoui- Mazraoui has been the undisputed right-back since the departure of Sergiño Dest. The Moroccan international is working on a very strong season, but again remains not free from injuries.- It is questionable whether large clubs dare to invest in the injury-prone back. In the Italian rumor circuit, his name was already linked to AS Roma and SS Lazio.
Contract until: mid-2022
Perr Schuurs- Schuurs receives alternately praise and criticism for his play. However, he has not yet been able to dispel doubts about his defensive deficiencies. – Michael Owen praised him at Liverpool, but there seems to be no serious interest. De Limburger said it himself: in the coming years he wants to develop at Ajax.
Contract until: mid-2022
Daley Blind- After an eventful year Daley Blind is not yet in top shape, but that he is of enormous value for Ajax is beyond dispute. – A new, final adventure seems to have put out the thirty year old Orange-International for the time being. He said he was open to a new contract.
Contract until: mid-2022
Nicolás Tagliafico- The Argentine iron driver struggled to find his rhythm after the coronapauze, partly because of minor ailments. Despite this, Ajax is happy with Tagliafico, who is at the forefront of the fight.- The left-back hopes for a top club and can be picked up for about 25 million euros. At the same time, he already rejected Bayer Leverkusen, because he didnt think it was a step up.
Contract until: mid-2023
Davy Klaassen- The return of Klaassen is great for himself and Ajax. He immediately became an important pivot in Erik ten Hag
s team and celebrated his return in Oranje.- Ajax paid about 11 million for the prodigal son at the beginning of October. It must be very crazy if the midfielder leaves again.
Contract until: mid-2024
Ryan Gravenberch- Gravenberch has been listed for years as one of the greatest talents in Amsterdam. This season, the eighteen-year-old midfielder has actually become one of the excels in the team.- Interest will increase due to its spectacular development. He was already mentioned in the corridors at top clubs like Juventus. Another year of Ajax seems wise.
Contract until: mid-2023
Antony- Antony didnt take long to adapt in the Netherlands. He is already the MVP of Ajax in the Eredivisie with six goals and seven assists.- However, the Brazilian wing attacker is only in his first season and needs to become a lot more constant. Therefore, a new step is not yet obvious.
Contract until: mid-2025
Mohammed Kudus- The Ghanaian midfielder made a trembling entrance to the Dutch fields, but already after four duels there was an abrupt end due to a knee injury.- What goes for Antony, goes for Kudus as well. For the time being, Amsterdam seems to be the ideal place to develop further.
Contract until: mid-2025
David Neres- After the success season 2018/2019, the name of Neres disappeared in the scouting book of many top clubs. Injury Leed, however, threw the wing flash far back. By now it is clear that he must also miss the top one against PSV.- Ajax rejected bid from China of 50 million. When the seven-time Brazilian international returns to level in 2021, a transfer topper is still one of the possibilities.
Contract until: mid-2023
Dusan Tadic- Tadic has grown into the leader of Ajax since his arrival in 2018. Although his game is not as spectacular as in the first season, the statistics are still excellent.- Ajax does not have to fear a departure from the Serb, who signed a
XXL contract in 2019. He remains active as a player until 2023 and then focuses on his trainer career until at least 2026.
Contract until: mid-2023
Probability of a transfer based on one to five stars:

PSV
Yvon Mvogo- Coach Roger Schmidt wanted to join Mvogo because of his footballing qualities. He blundered twice in this respect, but since then things have been much better.- The Swiss goalkeeper is now a certainty. It is rented from RB Leipzig until mid-2022. There is no question of the early termination of that lease agreement.
Contract until: mid-2022
DenzelDumfries- Dumfries has become the leader of PSV on and off the field and strives for a new step. Especially if he also plays a good European Championship with Orange, big clubs will come knocking.- The fact that PSV wants to renew his contract is mainly to increase its market value further. The rightback was already mentioned by Newcastle United and the Italian top club AC Milan.
Contract until: mid-2023
Jordan Teze- Teze is experiencing his breakthrough this season and is one of the surprises in Schmidt
s team, who gave him the opportunity as a central defender. – The youth product seems to be facing a bright future. For the time being, however, there are still enough goals for him at PSV, especially after he extended his contract in November.
Contract until: mid-2024
Olivier Boscagli- He was long and wide written off by the fans of PSV, but bad buy Boscagli is a fixed value this season. Schmidt praises him especially for his football qualities.- Defensive apron at the same time still has a lot to do with the Frenchman. A transfer to a top competition is therefore unlikely.
Contract until: mid-2023
Philipp Max- Without a doubt Max is one of the best purchases of the past transfer period. The linksback already had three goals and six assists in the Eredivisie and even debuted for Germany.- Max was already linked to clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain before coming to PSV. It is because of his good play that he leaves after one year.
Contract until: mid-2024
Ibrahim Sangaré- Sangaré needed some adjustment time, but the physically impressive midfielder is starting to leave its mark more and more. Hes undisputed under Schmidt.- PSV won Premier League club Southampton by fishing into Sangaré. Nevertheless, a new step in his career seems to come a little early after one year in Eindhoven.
Contract until: mid-2025
Pablo Rosario- Rosario got a lot of criticism last season, but he came up again. He is a fixed value as one of the two permanent defensive midfielders at PSV.- Serious interest from abroad has remained out so far and it is uncertain whether Rosario is already seen as an option by the clubs from England, Spain, Italy and Germany.
Contract until: mid-2023
Mario Götze- The most talkative and sensational addition to the Eredivisie this season. The 2014 German World Champion already regularly took PSV by hand.- Although Götze is interesting for many clubs, he will be pleased with the relative calm in Eindhoven, which he chose over Berlin for nothing. He was also in the picture at Bayern, but PSV hopes that he will at least perform his contract.
Contract until: mid-2022
Mohamed Ihattaren- The talent splashed at Ihattaren, but in the first months of the season he experienced a great decline. In the meantime, the rising line has been reinstated- That the playmaker has enormous potential may be clear and that makes him a target for many clubs. That
s why it can go fast. A longer stay at PSV is certainly still possible, but he will have to renew his contract.
Contract until: mid-2022
Donyel Malen- Besides Dumfries must PSV the most fear for a departure from Malen. The Orange attacker now shoots sharp again and is regularly important to his team.- Malen grows to the shape of before his severe injury and would already be on the list of Borussia Dortmund. The chance that more European superpowers will come forward is real. Unlike, for example, Ihattaren, he does have a long-term contract.
Contract until: mid-2024
Cody Gakpo- Gakpo has clearly deployed the upward line. He is excellent for PSV this season and coach Frank de Boer has shown several times that he has the wing attacker in his sights. – A call for Orange cannot be left out for very long, just like the interest of foreign clubs. It is then up to 21-year-old Gakpo to determine if he thinks its time for a transfer.
