There is a new trailer and details of the thriller The Invincible based on the novel by Stanislav Lem

As part of the recent Golden Joystick Awards 2021, a new trailer for the fantastic thriller The Invincible premiered. The game is based on the novel โ€œInvincibleโ€ by Stanislav Lem, and the atmosphere is inspired by retrofuturistic images of space travel as they were imagined in the 1940s and 1960s years. In the project, players will take on the role of a biologist named Yasna, who will explore the unfamiliar hostile planet Regis III.

She needs to find a missing crew member from her spaceship while trying to uncover the secrets of the local world. To solve local secrets, the heroine will use various devices, also created in the spirit of retrofuturism.

According to the authors, in their version of the universe, humanity is divided into two factions, as a result of which the heroine will be in the center of a political conflict against her will. The creators plan to tell a cinematic non-linear story in which the choice of players will affect the plot and the final.

At the same time, the game‘s website also reveals other details of the local world. The Invincible will be released in 2022 on consoles and PC.
