There will be a third part of the successful series about the bear Paddington. The creators have announced this to the trade magazine Variety. Many details are not yet known, except that actor Ben Whishaw will speak the voice of the bear again.
Director Paul King is not going to direct the third part. It is not yet known who succeeds him or when the film will be shown.
The first two parts were a great success. In fact, Paddington 2 was officially named the best reviewed film ever. On the authoritative American website Rottentomatoes.com, on which reviews are collected, the sequel to the British film about the sweet bear after 174 reviews still received only positive reviews.
Paddington 2 attracted almost 250,000 visitors in the Dutch cinemas. It is not yet clear whether Hugh Grant will return, who played the big villain in the second part.
