‘This event is not a reason to look at Ajax security’

Ajax and Feyenoord are shocked by the brutal robbery of the house of PSV striker Eran Zahavi. Both clubs point out to their players to be reluctant to share cases on social media in order to prevent these kinds of incidents.
A spokesman for Feyenoord indicates to the Cceit that players receive advice on whether or not to share private matters. โ€œWe should not underestimate social mediaโ€, so is the explanation. โ€œCriminal organizations are watching along. Perhaps it would be good to think more about what we do and do not show after this event at Zahavi.โ€
Ajax has already visited police representatives to give presentations on the subject. โ€œThis terrible event is no reason to re-examine security now. By providing information to the players, we do pay attention to the risks they face. We also offer them help to reduce the likelihood of something happening.โ€
On Sunday afternoon, two men entered the house of Zahavi and threatened his wife and children. The family was tied up and shut up, after which the thieves ran off with loot.
