Three PhD candidates in the left row: Go Ahead lets Willem II sink further

William IIs free fall continues unabated after the home game against Go Ahead Eagles. The Tricolores lost at home 0-1, so Go Ahead climbs over William II into the left row and the Tilburgers just descend to the right row.
William II won PSV at the end of September and was then second in the Premier League, but could not repeat that trick in the subsequent seven games. However, the Tilburgers started the game against Go Ahead in good spirits. Ché Nunnely, Dries Saddiki and Mats Köhlert provided the first pinpricks and Derrick Köhn hit the bar. However, Go Ahead fought back in the game: Jay Idzes seemed to score, but his header was removed from the line.
Immediately after halftime, the game was still broken open by the guests. Luuk Brouwers and Martijn Berden set up the attack, Boyd Lucassen managed to pass Timon Wellenreuther: 0-1. Willem II tried to seek the attack again, but only created a handful of opportunities. Köhn was once again the closest thing to a goal, but Warner Hahn kept visitors going.
The runner-up of the previous Kitchen Champion Division vintage is now in a neat eighth place, with twenty points from fourteen games. Willem II has two fewer spots and is two places lower. Remarkably enough, with SC Cambuur and NEC, there are two more PhD candidates in the left row.
