Swedish holding Thunderful Group AB announced the purchase of German gaming company Headup. The publishing house, which employs 14 people, was founded in 2009 and Limbo, The Binding of Isaac, Super Meat Boy, QUBE and Terraria came under its wing. As part of Thunderful Group, the company will continue its activities, and, in addition to the already announced projects, will create a game on based on “world-famous IP”. Its current head will be on the board of directors of Thunderful, he will be responsible for the publishing division.
The amount of the transaction is not named, but the transition should be completed on March 31. Both companies are full of optimism about talking about the future as a family reunion.
