Timber wins twice: Really dont have words for this

The Eredivisie and ESPN voted Jurriën Timber as the best player of the 2021/22 season on Tuesday evening, and the defender made a big impression in the heart of the Ajax defense last year.
The 21-year-old Timber was also voted the Premier Leagues greatest talent earlier on Tuesday evening. With the best player award, he succeeds his teammate Dusan Tadic. Timber received the award by his mother, who was of course very proud. Other nominees were Cody Gakpo (PSV), Noussair Mazraoui (Bayern Munich) and Luis Sinisterra (Leeds United).
I think I
ve stayed very constant all season, says an overjoyed Timber at the awards ceremony. Im still hungry to grow and want more next season. Thats how I ended up with these prices. As a surprise, Timber received another nice video message from his previous trainer Erik ten Hag.
Finally, Timber turned to his family. Writing two awards and history in such a way and getting those prizes from my mother and family, I really have no words for that. Captains and trainers, thank you so much for voting. Im going to enjoy it, but of course we have to keep going. We are playing more quickly with Ajax and of course we still have a World Cup to win.
