TinyBuild bought the publisher The Banner Saga and Pillars of Eternity 2

The well-known independent publishing house TinyBuild has announced its next expansion. This time, the company bought the equally well-known Versus Evil publishing house, under whose name, in particular, the series The Banner Saga and Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire appeared. The acquisition has added 32 more projects to TinyBuilds portfolio.

At the same time as the publishing house, TinyBuild, its subsidiary, Red Cerberus, which is engaged in testing, porting, localizing games and providing outsourcing services for game designers, engineers and artists. The studio employs 250 specialists.

The transaction value is estimated at $31. 3 million, of which 12.

5 million will be paid in advance, and the balance will be paid on profit for three years. Versus Evil will continue to operate as a publisher specializing in role-playing games and turn-based strategies.

With its new purchase, TinyBuild has brought together more than 400 employees in 11 locations around the world. Since its successful capitalization on the London Stock Exchange, the company has more than doubled its total staff.
