Activision announced that a remake of Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1+2s famous skateboarding simulator will soon be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. This release is scheduled for March 26. And before the end of the year, the game will also appear on Nintendo Switch.
For PS5 and Xbox Series X, the game will add a number of graphical improvements and introduce two modes: 1080p at 120 frames per second or 4K at 60 FPS. The textures of the models will tighten, the sound effects will improve, also refresh dynamic shadows, reflections and glare of the lens.
Those who have already bought the extended version on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be able to March 26 upgrade to the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series version for free. But for the regular version, the update will be available for a separate fee.
The new generation version includes all updates, including the secret skater Ripper, retro skins for Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero and Rodney Mullen, as well as retro gear for Create-A-Skater. Currently, Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1+2 is already available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and RS (only in the Epic Games store).
