Total War: Rome to receive remaster as early as April 29

Creative Assembly announced the first ever Total War series remaster. The updated version of Total War: Rome Remastered is released on April 29, and the studio Feral Interactive. The collection will include additions Barbarian Invasion and Alexander, as well as Rome: Total War Collection.

For Total War: Rome Remastered is preparing an improved visual part, the game will support 4K resolution with HDR. The environment, battlefields and character models will be redesigned.

In addition, improvements in gameplay and accessibility are promised, in particular, for Daltonikov. In the remaster, players will have access to 16 new game factions in addition to 22 previously known ones.

Among the new features are tactical map during battles, heat maps and overlapping icons in campaign mode. The games mechanics are improved, the diplomacy system was redesigned, and the camera was given more degrees of freedom.

For new players, improved support was added, including a redesigned manual, in-game handbook and detailed tips and hints. Owners of the original will be able to buy the remaster for half price – for 863 rubles.
