Travel advice for Greek islands adjusted to orange

The travel advice for all Greek islands will be tightened from yellow to orange. This means that all trips that are not necessary are not recommended. Whoever returns from an orange area must spend ten days in home quarantine in the Netherlands.

The reason for the tightening up of travel advice is the increasing number of infections in Greece. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs writes that the number of people infected with the coronavirus during their holidays on one of the Greek islands has risen considerably.

The orange travel advice will take effect tomorrow morning. The travel advice for the Greek mainland remains yellow.
