Trump furiously, considering dismissing Justice Minister Barr

US President Donald Trump is furious at Justice Secretary Bill Barr for saying on Tuesday that his Department did not find evidence of the alleged widespread electoral fraud that would alter the outcome of the presidential elections. An insider told the Washington Post that Trump is so angry that hes considering firing Barr.

Trump would like to dismiss Barr not only because of his statements about the hitherto unproven electoral fraud that Trump said has taken place, but also because Barr would have done too little to alleged missteps by the Federal Police Office towards Trumps campaign team to demonstrate. According to several insiders, Trump has been complaining about his Justice Minister on Wednesday. Several associates have been talking about the president to prevent him from firing Barr.

According to one of the insiders, Trump is still most angry with Barr for not putting pressure on investigating alleged crimes by the FBI in the investigation of links between the Trump campaign of 2016 and Russia. Trump wanted findings to be made public before the last elections.

In 2018, Trump fired Barrs predecessor Jeff Sessions out of anger for refusing to intervene in the investigation by Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller of alleged cooperation between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin.

Barr is considered one of Trumps most loyal allies. The Minister is known for his controversial view of the separation of powers. According to Barr, the President has little interest in the judiciary and parliament. Barr is also often under attack because he would put the ministry in place to defend Trumps personal interests.
