Turkish media outline doomsday scenario, but no worries for Ajacied Kaplan

Ajax defender Ahmetcan Kaplan has left the Turkish national team due to an injury. Although media in Turkey sketches a doomsday scenario, according to his agent, it is not serious.
It is true that Kaplan was injured and left Turkeys O21 selection. According to Turkish media, Kaplan has torn off part of his anterior cruciate ligament and that would mean bad news, but it is not serious. The MRI scan showed that Kaplan needs to rest for about two weeks. He has left the training camp, but will return again next week for recovery.
This summer, Kaplan made the switch from Trabzonspor to Ajax for around ten million euros, where he is the direct replacement for Perr Schuurs, who left for Torino in Italy for just over ten million euros. Kaplan is still waiting for his official debut in the team of Ajax trainer Alfred Schreuder.
