Joël Drommel is still on his way to PSV, report De Cceit and Eindhovens Dagblad Sunday evening. The goalkeeper of FC Twente has already been around with the Eindhovenaren for a long time, but both clubs still have a surrender.
According to De Cceit, FC Twente initially demanded 6.5 million euros, but the PSV has now met. The Tukkers can make good use of the transfer revenues and are now settling for an amount of 3.5 to four million euros.
In all likelihood, the deal will be close soon. For Drommel a five-year commitment is ready in Eindhoven. Sadly enough it was FC Twente that contacted PSV and revived the transfer talks.
Drommels successor comes from Eindhoven: Lars Unnerstall signed a four-year contract in early March and will follow the opposite path after this season. Yvon Mvogo, currently the first choice in Eindhoven, will be rented from RB Leipzig until 2022. Whether the approaching arrival of Drommel has consequences for that lease deal, remains to be seen.
PSV and FC Twente are close to an agreement on Joël Drommel. Looks like hes coming to Eindhoven soon. So more.
