The Premier League was rocked Wednesday night by two spectators who became unwell. At Watford — Chelsea, the incident — as far as known — fizzled, while at Southampton — Leicester City is waiting for more information.
After just over ten minutes, the race on Vicarage Road was shut down. The game stopped for about ten minutes, after a Watford supporter suffered a cardiac arrest in the stands. The fan is stabilized, announces the home team via the official channels.
The thoughts of everyone at Chelsea Football Club are with the fan and all those affected. Our thanks to the medical staff here at Vicarage Road for their quick response. 💙 https://t.co/8LK5JaKOZp

In the South of England, too, the public present was shocked by a medical emergency. The incident happened at halftime, which kicked off later than planned in the second half. How the Southampton fan is doing is not known. The competition has resumed.
Its the third time in a short period of time that the Premier League has faced a medical accident. A month ago during Newcastle United – Tottenham Hotspur, a spectator also became unwell. At the time, the attentive Sergio Reguilón ensured that the game was halted so that the supporter could receive assistance.
