Uncertainty about final Ajax-Vitesse: De Jonge does not exclude audience in duel

The cup final between Ajax and Vitesse is probably played without an audience. On Tuesday evening, Mark Rutte and Hugo de Jonge announced that there are no simplifications as far as the corona measures are concerned. For the KNVB it is not an option to move the cup final to another date.
Ajax and Vitesse will compete on 18 April in De Kuip. With the current package of measures, it is not possible to allow fans to join the game. The measures will continue until 20 April, but Rutte indicated that there may be more flexibility before that date. The RIVM still has many questions about the further course of the coronacrisis.
โ€œThis means that it can be disadvanable, but it can also be easy,โ€ says Rutte at the press conference, quoted by the AD. โ€œIf in a week it turns out that the figures are easy, then we can and will act quickly. We look very broadly at all sectors.โ€ The Young keeps the door ajar. โ€œI dont want to anticipate this, but it could be,โ€ he responds to the question of whether there might be an audience present.
The next press conference of Rutte and De Jonge will be on 13 April. Last season, the cup finals between Feyenoord and FC Utrecht did not take place due to the coronacrisis, which ended the tournament without a winner.
