‘United players are angry and were not reassured in conversation with chairman’

Players from Manchester United are unappealing to the plans of their club. President Ed Woodward (photo) is one of the initiators of the Super League and that has been shot in the wrong throat during a large part of the selection.
On Monday morning, Woodward had to convene an online emergency meeting to explain the situation to a large part of Uniteds selection. According to The Daily Mail, they were not happy to hear the clubs plans through the media and have made their feelings about the upcoming Super League clear.
These feelings are described as lukewarm by The Mail. Woodward tried to make it clear that he had the best interests of the club, but could hardly convince the players. Some players were not exactly impressed, as it is read. Most of them said they were not happy with the action of their club.
Earlier on Monday Bruno Fernandes, Uniteds star player, reposted a message from Daniel Podence. The Portuguese expressed his horror at the Super League and Fernandes announced that dreams cannot be bought.
