United prepares gigantic bid

Manchester United is going to make a huge bid at Ajax for Antony this week, reports Sky Sports. Manager Erik ten Hags club has been interested for a long period of time and is willing to go far for the Brazilian winger.
Manchester United already showed interest in Antony at the beginning of this transfer period, but The Mancunians did not reach an agreement with Ajax about the transfer fee. After the disappointing results in the competition, the English superpower has decided to go deep into the pouch for the Ajax song. Sky Sports speaks of a
huge offer.
The British medium does not report how high the bid is. Recently, Ajax raised Antony
s asking price to one hundred million euros. The Amsterdammers do not have to sell the 22-year-old outside player, as he still has a three-year contract in the Johan Cruijff Arena. Offers of sixty and eighty million were therefore rejected, because the reigning national champion wants to get the maximum transfer fee out of the negotiations.
The Brazilian international shone last weekend in the game with FC Groningen (6-1 victory Ajax), in which he scored once, provided one assist and entertained the audience with technical delights. After the match, he reacted to the transfer problems. “I focus on the here and now. What comes, thats coming, well see. Right now, Im in a good position here,” he told the CCEit.
Ten Hag shopped at his old club before, bringing in Lisandro Martínez. The Argentine was already in the picture at United before the arrival of the Dutch manager, but Ten Hag saw the deal gain momentum. Antony could become the second Ajax player to leave Amsterdam for Manchester.
