Update: Aurier finds new club after Spurs departure and will play in Spain

Serge Aurier seems to continue his career in Spain. The right-back, whose contract was disbanded a big month ago by Tottenham Hotspur, will be medically inspected at Villarreal on Monday.
English media, including The Daily Mail, report that Monday. When Aurier passes his inspection, he becomes a teammate of Arnaut Danjuma in Spain. The Ivorian was also linked to a switch to Arsenal, but thats not going to come from it.
It is not yet clear how long Aurier will sign at the current issue eleven of La Liga. On Deadline Day, Tottenham and the defender decided to dissolve his contract in agreement. The arrival of Emerson Royal made Aurier redundant in North London.
After the international period, Aurier will be able to make his debut for Villarreal. The club from Eastern Spain will play against Osasuna in competition. A few days later, a Champions League meeting with Young Boys is scheduled.
Update: Serge Aurier signed a contract with Villarreal. The French fullback has signed for one season, with an option for two more seasons. He left on Deadline Day of the last transfer period transfer free at Tottenham Hotspur, hoping to find a new club soon.
