Update: Bale confirms transfer: ‘See you soon, Los Angeles’

There is clarity about Gareth Bales future. The Welshman, who recently announced his departure from Real Madrid, continues his career in the Major Soccer League, at Los Angeles FC.
Various media reports this, including The Athletic and transfer guru Fabrizio Romano. Bale gained transfer-free status and was able to choose his next destination in peace. Cardiff City looked set to stunt and bring his youth player back to the Championship, but it is Los Angeles FC that draws at the longest end. The offender is about to sign a one-year contract in the United States, with an option for another eighteen months.
Bale recently hinted that he is mainly focused on the World Cup in Qatar. Wales has participated in the global final tournament for the first time since 1958, and for that reason, the Welshman wanted to plan his future with patience. Still, he tied the knot early in the season. For Bale, Los Angeles FC becomes its fourth employer. Previously, he served Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur and Real.
Update: Bale is indeed on its way to Los Angeles. The Welsh left-footed has announced the news through its social media channels. His new club Los Angeles FC will play against the New York Red Bulls on Sunday night, but Bale will of course not be there yet.
