Update: Italians confirm arrival of Vilhena on rental basis

Tonny Vilhena is facing the next transfer in his career. The midfielder will soon be medically inspected by Salernitana, a Serie A club.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports this. Vilhena must be rented from Espanyol. Player and club are in disarray for financial reasons. Espanyol rented Vilhena from FK Krasnodar, highlighted the option, while Vilhena himself was not waiting for it at all. Espanyol has moth with Krasnodar again and therefore Vilhena is still waiting for part of his salary.
Salernitana now hopes to be able to pick up Vilhena from Espanyol on rent. According to Di Marzio, the Italian club can buy it for 3.5 million euros after this season and the rent amounts to 300,000 euros. The medical exam is scheduled for sometime this week. Vilhena is still stuck with Espanyol until the summer of 2026, playing for Feyenoord in the Netherlands.
Update: Salernitana has confirmed by means of a brief statement that Tonny Vilhena will be active in Salerno next season. The Dutch midfielder is rented, with an option to buy. He will play with number ten. The ex-Feyenoorder was in disarray with Espanyol for financial reasons and therefore wanted to leave the Catalan club.
