Update: Juventus confirms Chiellini goes black and white for season 17 and 18

Giorgio Chiellini and Juventus are finally out, reports transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano. The nearly 37-year-old EC-star will sign up until 2023 and also wants to take part in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Chiellini was acquired from Fiorentina in 2005 and ran out of his contract with Juventus on 1 July. The outdated defender recently announced that he will play for La Vecchia Signora next season: Chiellini will sign a two-year commitment as a birthday gift โ€” he will be 37 years old on August 14 โ€” says Romano.
The stopper made in 2001 (!) all his pro debut on behalf of Livorno and so goes well over the twenty years of professional football. The newly new European champion Italy can count on him in the coming years. Chiellini came to 112 international since 2004 and can go for his seventh major final tournament in 2022. The Azzurri did not qualify for the World Cup in 2018, but are on their way to revanche: after three games, they have the maximum score in their qualifying group with Switzerland, Northern Ireland, Lithuania and Bulgaria.
Update: Juventus confirmed Romanos news: Chiellini remains active in Turin until 2023. The central defender goes black and white for his seventeenth and eighteenth seasons.
