Paris Saint-Germain is going to do business with Ajax-opponent Sporting Portugal, reports Fabrizio Romano. The Parisians will hire talent Nuno Mendes (pictured) for seven million euros from the Portuguese champion. Sporting and PSG are also talking about Pablo Sarabia, who has to walk the reverse road.
Personally, Mendes is also out with PSG. France‘s number two can finally take over the nineteen-year-old left-back after a season for forty million euros. The paperwork will be completed in the next few hours, after which the transfer will be official.
Sporting, which plays against Ajax on September 15th, is likely to get another player back from PSG. The Lisbon club negotiates Sarabia, which is allowed to leave Paris. It’s not clear if Sporting wants to rent or buy the Spanish attacker.
Mendes was normally a fixed value at Sporting. However, he missed the first duels of the season due to an ankle injury. When he was fit again, the Portuguese fled back into base. In the duels that Mendes was unavailable, Rúben Vinagre was in his position.
